Recently, Kamelot released the new single from their upcoming album, Ghost Opera, and it was an excellent song (the song was "Ghost Opera," by the way), but about a month later, the actual album was leaked (only a few days ago), so I downloaded it and listened to it (still planning on buying it). It is easily one of Kamelot's best albums (about tied with The Black Halo, which I previously considered the best Kamelot album). From start to finish, the band made one hell of an album. This time around, however, they didn't make a rock opera like Karma and Epica/The Black Halo. Either way, Kamelot is power metal at its best, up there with genre greats Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire and Sonata Arctica.
PS: to DragonForce fans, saying that Kamelot plays circles around DragonForce is the understatement of the century.
