Right. How does it work?

So I was asked by Gatecrasher if maybe I could write a blog. I don't write blogs (ever), so this is going to resemble something stuck to the bottom of your shoes: that piece of gum you stepped on last year, maybe. d:

But I don't really want to talk about my life. Not that it's a depressing abyss of darkness and pain or anything, it just isn't something I tend to talk about. Instead, I think I'll talk about something abstract (that back button on the browser looks pretty tempting right about now).

Well, anyway, I might have reached some sort of pseudo-epiphany, today. Maybe it was because I was eating some candy (sugar does awful things), or maybe it was because I was feeling tired so my vision was a bit misty. But, I was sitting with my friends, and she was talking about something I can't quite remember, but I can clearly recall her mouthing something, laughing hysterically. Everything seemed unreal; the cafeteria, the people walking in and out, even the trash lying on the floor. It's like watching something from a one-way glass.

And then, as I was chewing on my bit of candy, I said to her: "You're a figment of my imagination. There is no reality."

I am the greatest at starting strange conversations. She looks at me like I'm on crack and she says, "No, you are a figment of my imagination. It's like the matrix. You're just trying to trick me into thinking that I'm non-existent, when I'm the only one here with a working brain."

I just said to her, in reply: "The movie sucked."

So much for abstract conversation.
